Erin Wert Greet the Sun--To remain open and Soul-full is to remain vulnerable. That is challenging in this sometimes brutal, confusing and changing world. How do we navigate a world that has so much information to offer, yet such different definitions of Truth?
Satya, the second Yama, means honesty, truthfulness, authenticity. In practicing Satya, we give to the world and ourselves the most authentic version of ourselves, continually striving to uncover our blind spots and ways that we cover up and hide behind certain value systems, roles, groups or definitions of self. When we take those away we are left to look at Self…sometimes called Soul, Spirit, etc.
In “Greet the Sun,” Erin Wert and Jason Bear will lead you through a SLOW FLOW exploration of Truth and Trust in yourselves as a practice of Loving-Kindness/Compassion in this global, changing and interconnected world.
Jacquie Hansen Restoration with Yoga Nidra: Through a gentle restorative asana practice and yoga nidra we will explore the energetic subtle body. The restorative asana practice will allow awareness of the body to grow and blood to flow through areas that may contain tension or energy blocks. With the practice of yoga Nidra you can go deeper into the experience of your own body that can allow for a deep healing and rest and a great sense of the subtle energy within.
Alan and Jacquie's Class Description: Finding your creative spark with laughter, movement, and yoga play! You will be lead through a practice of creating spaces inside yourself to find your own creative spark. Jacquie Hansen and Alan Potter will lead you through a special sequencing of movements with play and laughter to allow you to be more at ease in your body and maybe even be surprised by how you can express yourself! When we allow play and ease we can more easily find that creativity within. A journal may be helpful for this practice but not required.
Kelly Thielbahr Welcome to the Elements of Eureka: Join me for a grounding and intention setting class upon arrival at Yoga Feast. Whether you have traveled from near or far, this class will create Space, allowing the sacred and divine to guide your practice and enhance the weekend of Yoga, meditation, food, music and community. The class will be rooted in your muladhara chakra as we settle into the Earth element on the beautiful grounds of the Eureka Center on Lake Pend Orielle, surrounded by the Water element. We will use the Air element through pranayama (breath work) to help center the body and create an intention for the weekend. Next we will be building some heat and Fire via Sun Salutations and explore a variety of hip openers. This class is designed to connect the body, mind and spirit leaving you feeling open and ready to dive into your weekend of Yoga Feast bliss.

Invite an attitude of open hearted-ness & gratitude at the beginning of your practice & witness how this informs your ability to set a steady and reliable foundation from which your practice can grow. A Warrior’s Heart Best to have good familiarity with backbends and experience going upside down. The heart of a warrior is one that is strong, fearless and supple. As Yogis we engage in asana practice to become more confident and strong in our bodies; We engage in asana practice that ask us to do things that are not a part of daily life like bending backwards and turning our bodies upside down so that we become more courageous and trust that which we cannot see; We engage in asana to helps us remember to breathe, and connect to something greater than ourselves so that we remain soft in our hearts and humble. Be ready for a strong and invigorating practice of backbends and inversions that will remind you what you are made of - that deep within you resides the heart of a warrior. Trisha Wilson Chakra Yoga Journey: Awaken and open to the flow of energy in this journey of the subtle body. In this full spectrum yoga class, explore the chakras, or energy centers, from root to crown. Investigate the characteristics of each chakra and how to channel energy in your body and your life. Utilize yoga postures, breath techniques, visualization and mantra to open energetic pathways and balance body, mind and spirit.
Mythology and Movement –Hanuman’s Leap for Love: Yoga mythology has the power to help us awaken, transform and realize our highest potential. This dynamic yoga practice will be woven with some of the great stories of Hanuman, the monkey god. This will be a playful, heart-centered exploration of all that Hanuman symbolizes: courage, devotion, service and love. Expect deep hip opening, hamstring stretching and heart expansion.
Kelly Thielbahr & Gaia Rei Restorative Flow: Slow, intentional restorative flow , Including elements of sound with the use of crystal bowls to inspire room for creativity, self discovery and Divine body spirit connection.
Holly Walker Shakti Yoga Flow: “Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again , come , come.” ~Rumi Share an early morning session of yoga, mala meditation, and rumination with yoga teacher Holly Walker as she guides you through Shakti Yoga Flow. Designed to wake you up slowly, this session begins with pranayama breathing and moves into an awakening practice with gradual grace. This class culminates in a 20 minute mala meditation practice in which you will be shown the basic principles and introductory techniques of this sacred style of meditation. Malas will be provided for your use.

Brietta Leader WildCore™-Return to Center: WildCore is a blend of choreography, conscious dance, breath-work and belonging, and will be offered on the mat as an easy to follow, dancing asana. One of the most divine offerings we can give our body is our awareness. Returning to center on the physical plane we will focus on the mid-line, made up of the pelvis, chest & head, the Sushimna energy channel & an amazing network of nerve lines. Moving from the mid-line offers ease within transitions engages our internal power & aligns our energy centers. This class is designed to music, which offers a space for core expression & a releasing of energetic debris. As we leave the mat we have Anjali mudra as a somatic reminder to return to center, fully connected & alive.
Soul Motion®: All are invited to this evening conscious dance practice that will be spiced up with Live Drummers & Gypsy Diva Dance Performance. We will gather around the Wisdom Tree and begin with an offering to the earth, and open invitations to explore movements that support the enlivening of the elements within our bodies. The drumbeat will activate our ancient roots, where dance was a part of healing, celebration, and deep listening. As a leader of this conscious dance experience I will stay present to our group field and offer a variety of ways to connect to the dance that is pulsing within each of us as consciousness, as art, as community.
Holly Walker Inner Essence Portraits: Join artist Holly Walker on the tranquil shores of Lake Pend Oreille as she guides you in creating a personalized inner essence portrait. Using the mediums of watercolor and ink, you will be led step-by-step through the process of creating a unique self-portrait. She will assist you in translating aspects of your inner essence into symbols, colors, and textures. You will also be given a useful cheat sheet for creating simple and beautiful portraits. Come connect with nature and yourself for this inspiring session.
Betsy Shilling Myofascial Release - Top to Toes Roll-Out: We will unravel tight connective tissue from head to toe over the course of two sessions: Top to Tummy on Saturday and Tummy to Toes on Sunday! Come self-massage away soreness from strong asana work and tent-dwelling, improve your digestion and circulation, enhance your breathe, detoxify and feel oh-so-much better!

Slackro: Invite instability to find stability, and push your edge to discover your center in this safe, community supported experience. These balancing poses will be explored on the ground, with partners and on the slackline in a safe, supportive, fun community atmosphere.
Partner Yoga & Restorative Flight: Lett go into a deep level of relaxation through connection and support. Through breathwork, relaxing touch and partner yoga we channel the ancient wisdom of Metta – loving kindness. These lay the foundation of compassionate touch, receptivity and communication. From a foundation of mutual support, we empower others to fly and learn to fly ourselves. No partner or experience necessary.
Jennifer Ott Authentic Relating Appetizer: Join me just before three of our mealtimes for some fun connecting. You will experience a playful exercise that deepens our connections with each other by shifting out of “doing” and into “being”, shifting from past/future into the present, and from critical focus to appreciative focus. The exact activity for each appetizer will depend on the size of the group and what feels alive in the moment to explore. Meet new people and connect deeper with those you know! Take away an insight to apply in your communications with others.
Circling: Go beyond the appetizer for the main course! Learn some valuable take home secrets to connecting deeply with others while expanding your community at YogaFeast.Circling is a relational practice designed to allow a visceral experience of connection and understanding another person’s world, celebrating who and where they are right now. It’s practicing using our genuine curiosity to better understand and become a connoisseur of another person’s world though present moment awareness. Rob & Melissa Bhakti Immersion (Workshop) - What are you devoted to? Join husband and wife, Rob and Melissa, as they lead you through an exploration of Bhakti Yoga, the Yoga of Devotion. In this unique and blissful experience, we will learn about and practice the various modes of Bhakti, through meditation, mantra, kirtan, storytelling and satsang. In addition, we will explore how to incorporate these heart-opening practices into your own life. It doesn’t matter whether you are new to Bhakti, or a life-long devotee, dive into the ocean of devotion during this celebration of the divine! “Bhakti Yoga isn’t something you join, it’s love. Gaia and Shannon Rei GROUP SOUND HEALING -Come, create and send your love to the collective consciousness of humanity. This group experience will utilize brain wave vibration and movement, leading you into the nourishing heavenly tones of the crystal singing bowls. These harmonic sounds will facilitate an opportunity to access a deep state of relaxation, re-balacing and replenishing of the spirit, mind and body.
Katie Trelstad Katie is a sound healer that uses didgeridoo as an instrument for Spirit to flow through. She will bless and help to hold sacred space during our ceremonies at the NW Yogafeast celebration. She has studied dance, music and musical theater and has worked as a vocalist, performer, and sound healer for most of her life.
Gypsy Divas Every time the Gypsy Diva's perform there is a unique story of inspiration, original costuming, a dynamic mix of core ladies and guests, world music and the expression of the ancient art of dance. This summer the Diva's will be offering a Candle dance. In each of the dancer's hands is a candle within a glass orb, so the dance has a sense of delicate power, grace and intricate patterning to bring joy to the audience. Dancing with the living flame with a group of women has a very ancient thread that is woven through the hearts of the audience.
